About the Symposium
The James Madison University School of Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication (WRTC) is sponsoring the Graduate Symposium on Communication in the 21st Century: Obstacles and Opportunities.
Friday, April 16, 2010.
12:00-1:15 p.m. — lunch/keynote ($10 registration fee includes lunch)
1:30-4:30 p.m. — student presentations (free and open to all)
Festival Conference and Student Center
The Symposium begins with a keynote address by Dr. James Dubinsky of Virginia Tech during lunch, held from 12:00-1:15 p.m. in the Festival Highlands Room. Register at the University Business Office in Warren Hall between March 29th and April 12th ($10 fee for lunch).
The Symposium continues with presentations by graduate students from around the country on different aspects of communication. Student presentations will take place from 1:30-4:30 p.m. in Festival Conference Rooms 1-3 (presentations are free and open to all).
