The Symposium Program Has Been Posted

The program of the symposium has been posted. Please see the link at the top, in the main menu.

Nine Days and Counting

Nice days left and we are ready to host this event. Well, almost ready. There are a few things left to be done here and there, but the preparations are going smoothly.

Online Registration Is Now Up and Running; Upcoming Review of Proposals

The online registration system can be accessed by following the "Register" link at the top of the site. Obviously, since we have not yet reviewed the multitude of proposals we have received, there is no need for anyone to register just yet.

We will begin reviewing the proposals shortly and will be in touch with the authors as soon as the review process is completed.

If you have delayed submitting a proposal for a presentation or a panel, there is still time. Just go to the Submit Proposal link and follow directions.

The First Annual Graduate Communication Symposium

The first Annual Graduate Communication Symposium will take place at James Madison University on April 16th, 2010. This year's theme is "Communication in the 21st Century: Obstacles and Opportunities." We invite proposals for individual presentations, panels, and posters from graduate students in a variety of disciplines.

The deadline for proposal submissions has been extended until Friday, January 15, 2010.

Updated: We now have dozens of proposals from students at seven institutions in five states! Keep them coming!
